This Canon is a 4 bar canon major minor shifts.
This was a canon off the back of an African round called Ongawa. (spelling is probably dodgy). It can be performed in two ways every 2 bars (11a) and every bar (11b)
This canon is a sequence that goes through every key.
This piece is for 3 violins and goes through all the keys but in a cycle of my own invention rather than the cycle of 5ths. All good fun.
This is based on the first canon, but I have added two extra bars to each section and changed the mode to a phrygian ish mode to make it a bit darker and a bit more intense.

A five part canon or more, this can be used as displayed or you can use some of the simpler parts as a ground. I have done brass quintet versions and wind quintet versions as well, and I am happy to do four/five viola and cello versions if you wish or any other combinations as necessary.
